2023 Toyota RAV4

The 2023 RAV4 comes in six trim levels with a wealth of options packages. The base trim is the LE, which is followed by the midrange XLE, the luxury-touched XLE Premium, the rugged Adventure, the trailblazing TRD Off-Road, and the range-topping Limited. It's available in a wealth of solid and two-tone colors including Magnetic Gray Metallic, Lunar Rock, Wind Chill Pearl, Ice Cap White, Cavalry Blue, Midnight Black Metallic, Ruby Flare Pearl, Blueprint, and Silver Sky Metallic.

All 2023 Toyota RAV4 models are powered by a 203-horsepower inline four-cylinder engine mated to an eight-speed transmission that generates 184 pound-feet of torque for the front wheels. All-wheel drive is available as an option. If you opt for the Adventure or TRD Off-Road trim, you get an upgraded all-wheel-drive system. The engine offers a surprising amount of pickup when you step on the gas, and you will have little trouble merging and passing on the highway.

The Adventure gives you selectable drive train modes and hill descent controls. The TRD Off-Road adds a special off-road-tuned suspension to keep the ride smooth even on the roughest ground.

The Toyota RAV4's cabin is spacious with intuitive layouts and controls that are easy to reach and even easier to manipulate. You get 41 inches of legroom in the front while your rear passengers get a generous 37.8 inches of legroom. The seating position offers outstanding visibility, and the combination of the touchscreen and big rubber physical knobs works well together. Features like available heated and cooled seats add some luxury, while standard Apple and Android smartphone integration allows for the use of all your phone apps in conjunction with the Entune infotainment system. The available 10.5-inch touchscreen is huge, and the premium 11-speaker JBL audio booms.

Every 2023 Toyota RAV4 comes with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite of active intelligent driver aids. These include forward collision warning plus automatic braking for emergencies, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping systems, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and a traffic sign reader.
