The 2023 Toyota Corolla flaunts a modern exterior with fluid aerodynamic lines, a redesigned front grille, and updated rear fascias. It sends power to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Hybrid trims offer a 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with variable-valve timing paired with two motor generators through an E-CVT, an intelligent transmission with a limitless number of gear ratios. It delivers 138 horsepower and 105 pound-feet of torque, and all hybrids include a lithium-ion battery under the rear seat. All 2023 Toyota Corolla sedans come standard with front-wheel drive, and hybrid models offer optional all-wheel drive.
